Who missed me? Please tell me you guys missed me and missed my post. I didn't blog in the last two days due to some circumstances beyond my control.
There is a reason for everything, that's what people say. So due to the fact that I couldn't blog for two days, I decided to convert the circumstances beyond my control to an experiment.
The experiment was this? People have asked me times without number whether dey born me with blog? If I can survive without my blog? Is blogging in my blood stream?
As you can see I never kpeme(die) but I knew somewhere deep down in the bottomest bottom of myself, that those days weren't totally complete because I didn't have a post.
Omo my people the matter too many for me to start to dey put the tory. The random thoughts when I store for my brain for this past two days be say 'everything actually happens for a reason', 'life na just experiment of self discovery' and 'you can never tell what the future holds'

Boyfriend Blabber
It's been a while since I meet a boyfriend blabber. What do I mean by boyfriend blabber? I mean those ladies that don't discuss anything apart from their boyfriends. All they do is blab about their boyfriends. You can stay with them for 20hours and everything you hear is my boyfriend this, my boyfriend that.
No this isn't a negative post about boyfriends. I'm not complaining about boyfriends o!

I'm So Inspired
I won't lie, it hasn't been easy to blog for a while. When I get home, I'm so tired and I just wan use my back take touch the bed and crash (sleep).
Today wasn't any different from the other days of me being tired but I just saw a mail that inspired me.
It was sent by a WAG reader. He had actually sent a mail earlier which I replied and today I just saw his response to my reply and it inspired me. The WAG reader goes by the name C.O

Local Government Elections, Curfew And Wedding
Due to the Local Government elections which were conducted today, 16th March 2013, curfew was placed in Abuja city from Friday 12midnight to Saturday 5pm.
No movement at all at all. I sleep, I wake up, I sleep again I wake up. That was just the order of my day, and thanks to PHCN they made it more boring for not giving us light. Today of all days, when dey ask people make dem sit down house naim we suppose get 24hours light, so that person nor go feel like prisoner inside house.
My complain is even small compared to that of one of my friends, who came for a wedding only to be told that there wasn't going to be movement. The wedding was then shifted from morning to 5pm in the evening and reception by 8pm.
In short the reception may still be going on. I hope the couple get a good turnover of guests. Anyway this is Abuja, people move at all hours of the day. If na for some other places, fear nor go make guests go for 8pm wedding o, make dey nor go thief their cars.
I am happy for the couple. Plus election, minus election, they were still joined together as husband and wife.

People Affected By 'My Oga At The Top'
Not only were t-shirts made, an #myogaatthetop twitter group was created, a 'my oga at the top' facebook page was also created. Then there were different songs released for 'my oga at the top'. They are all hilarious but the most shocking of the all is that someone has purchased the domain name of 'my oga at the top'.
The site isn't fully operational now but the domain name www.myogaatthetop.com has been bought and taken.
There are two people who have been affected by this 'my oga at the top' trend.
In first place we have AKPOS. You all know how akpos don suffer for curse and joke matter. Now AKPOS can breath because 'my oga at the top' has taken the spotlight.
The 2nd is Mr. Obafaiye Shem, the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) who got nationwide fame by yaning gbagaun(speaking wrongly) on TV.
Ha! Na wa o! How this man take reach the position of State Commandant?
There was a time I heard someone say that one senator abi house of rep member couldn't sing the national anthem. This goes to show the type of people in power.

1st Or 2nd To Last
I come frm a family of 6, and I'm d 3rd child followed by a younger sister who is the lasty/last card/last born/baby of the house.
All my life, when people ask what position I am among the children, I usually say 3rd born or '2nd to the last'.
This night someone just corrected me that it isn't '2nd to the last', it should be '1st to the last' because looking at it literally, '2nd to the last' means there is one more child after me before the last born whereas '1st to the last' means I am the 1st person before the last born.
My friend claimed to have been making the same mistake as well until recently when he was corrected.
I was so surprised to know that '2nd to the last' may not be correct. This is something I have heard often from alot of people. Anyway we learn everyday.
So before I take this correction, I want to do a survey to know what you guys think. Is it supposed to be '2nd to the last' or '1st to the last'?

New Pope, Good News
God bless the Pope, God bless the church and God bless all the Nigerians who had hope and carried rumor that the next Pope was going to be a Nigerian Cardinal.
Hearing that rumor made me laugh, we can hype ourselves well well for this country sha and can over spread rumor.
I went to the market one day and you needed to see the way some people were discussing the Pope selection issue and the choice of the next Pope being a Nigerian. You go think say na them dey govern Vatican city.

Obey The Call Of Nature
Its almost midnight and I just woke up from sleep to find out that I narrowly missed blogging today. I got back home and I was so tired that I slept off and forgot to blog. Thank God I woke up just before midnight to do this post. I also thank God for today even though my whole body was complaining of tiredness.
*Yawning* I can't type much. I must obey the call of nature to let my body rest including my brain, so before I finally shut down for the day, I just have to do this post.
How was your day guys? Mine was hot and sunny. The sun in 9ja is vexing nor be small, e wan show us e be sun. But abeg who dey compete with SUN? End the competition o, before some people get roasted.

Aproko sha kill some people. Friend A used a picture of Friend B and her boyfriend as her display picture on her blackberry messenger. Know-know friend A, na wrote personal message of "Love in the air".
Come and see aproko people getting to work. Dey wan ping my battery die with different questions about friend B, if she is engaged to her boyfriend? When is the marriage? How long have they been dating?
This is what I call 3rd party aproko. Instead of dem to ping friend A that used the picture as dp, dey are pinging me, WAG, for aproko. Dey just want to kill my battery so.

AMVCA Is All About My Guy
The African Magic Viewer's Choice Award went down tonight. The award show is on right now and I am concerned about just one star among the stars. It’s all about my guy Ikhide Issac.
He was among the nominees for best actor in a comedy category. I hope you guys voted for him sha o!
I couldn't wait for the winner to be announced, my heart was racing and I was keeping my fingers crossed. Although he didn't win, I'm still proud of him for making it this far.

Blogging Keeps On Giving Me Surprises
Blogging never seems to stop surprising me, from one surprise to another.
First it was GEE, my gift from Google.
Then it was Power Summit,
after that it was Pay It Forward with Malcolm.
Today I got another surprise. WAG readers, one of my post got feature in a news publication as an article.
My post on NYSC-Now Your Status Changes was featured in the news letter of Rivers State Corpers. One of the editors who happened to be my childhood friend read it a while back and contacted me if they could publish it on their news letter. I agreed but I totally forgot about it on till today when she sent me pictures of the publication and that’s what you have below;

The Rivers State Kopa Newsletter has been dormant for over a year but was just revived by the 2012 Batch “B” editorial board CDS group and this is the first edition since its revival. It is sold for 50 naira.
I’m glad I got featured. I know its not Forbes magazine but jete by jete(small small) I’m moving. Nobody knows where I would be featured next.

Equivalent To 1Million Naira
I swear this plate of food was equivalent to 1million naira in my eyes at that moment. For hunger to wire person nor good o. All my eyes don enter inside before. The hunger turn me to deaf and dumb, to talk hard me. All I could do was nod. To blog sef wasn't on my agenda, all my sense could recall was Food!!!
Now my stomach affair has been settled. I am energized, thanks to my babe. I have got my strength for aproko #eyesclosed#
Oya someone please offer me one million tomorrow evening to see whether I go still say food is equivalent to the money. By the time I see the money that's when people would indeed know say God feed the Isrealites with manner from above. My stomach would be spiritually filled as I grab the money, lol.

Friends Are Also Blind
The normal advice for couples is this; 'Husband be deaf, Wife be blind'.
No! Not just for wives to be blind, friends also need to be blind.
I just jam person husband for one bad corner with one chic. As in, the guy was doing mushi-mushi(acting stupid) for the babe.
I jejely greeted the man and exchanged pleasantries with the korokoro look of 'hmmm...bad guy'. Then I left and I lost my memory of that moment. The memory of jamming the guy has been erased.
Yes o! As a sharp girl, I didn't see anything. Nor be my mouth naim dey go hear say Pastor shit for inside church. Make I still dey the family good book before dey go judge matter say na WAG talk am.

I just jam person husband for one bad corner with one chic. As in, the guy was doing mushi-mushi(acting stupid) for the babe.

Provoking Girlfriend
Omo guys, one babe dey para(vex) for me o. I received a message from a guy, saying how much he enjoys my blog but can't comment with his name because his girlfriend won't let him.
He says she picks up issues whenever he reads my blog. Like she doesn't see why he would take his time to be following my daily gist, reading about the Life of a Warri Girl.
The only thing when I fit reply na HA!
Not like I know them personally o, so why is the girl provoking on my head?
The guy said somewhere in the message that his girlfriend is naturally possessive.
Babe, abeg calm down o! I am just a humorous girl on the internet, who blogs about anything and everything.
Some girls sha can over do this whole relationship possessiveness. The babe suppose dey happy say the guy just dey like my blog for internet nor be say na girl when he dey like for ground. I wonder if she would be tying the guy to her waist 24/7.
I'm surprised about the girl's reaction. Wetin person nor go see! Anyway, I'm just a normal blogger, here to entertain.

Torn Trouser Day
Tired or not, somehow somehow, gist must still fall out from my side and today's gist is a gist to shame the devil.
While I was having a busy day, I just had an uncomfortable feeling. I feel say na piss dey catch me but it was a different something. As I got to the toilet, I noticed a tear under my trouser. I said "Kai! Which kain debolo(devil) tinz be this na".
I prayed to my father in heaven to please let the tear not widen, that I should be able to manage this tear till the end of the day.
To God be the Glory, it didn't increase. Whew! Thank God.
Anyway peeps hope you guys had a lovely day, me I had a torn trouser day.

Out Of Town But Still Made In Warri
I have something important to share with you guys. I have left Warri City. I can't say precisely when I would be back. I would be returning once once sha but for now my base has changed.
Change, the only constant thing in life, has happened to me. Presently now, I am breathing the same air with President Goodluck Jonathan. Hopefully maybe a piece of the national cake go reach my side, lol.
With the whole relocation abi change of environment stuff, my friends have being asking me what I am going to do about my blog? Since I am out of Warri now, Am I going to change my blog name? Am I going to quit blogging totally?
No! I am not quitting blogging and I am not changing my blog name. Oba nor dey go transfer but he fit go visitation or vacation. That's the way it is for me, I am out of the town doesn't mean I am not WAG. You can take me out of the town but you can't take the town spirit out of me.
Now the only problem is that my schedule has gotten tighter, so I don't think I can continue with the every morning post. Still thinking do I post daily? Or once in two days? Or post anytime I get inspiration.
After much deliberation, I have decided to still continue blogging daily but instead of mornings, I would be posting every EVENING for now. Better still, you can subscribe to my blog via email so as not to miss any post.
So that's that. I would see you guys tomorrow evening. I still remain WAG, the Kpokish one, with more interesting gist about my experiences and adaptation in Abuja.

Toxicologists in West Africa have warned against uncontrolled environmental pollution in the Niger Delta, blaming rampant cases of bareness among women under the productive age bracket on oil and gas pollution among others.
The experts, in the study of poisons and their harmful impact on man, said: ''We are being faced with a situation where our young girls and women are increasingly experiencing barrenness or having deformed or abnormal children when they are able to give birth," in the summary resolution adopted after the conference.

Child Abuse Or Not?
Last night I went for drinks with my friends, at Eden Garden Park. There were different performances but the most spectacular performance of the day was a group of young boys who came to perform.
I don't think those boys must have finished secondary school. They were really young. I looked at my watch and it was 11:30pm, I was like WHAT? Why are they out performing in a joint at this hour? Aren't they suppose to be studying?
I was still reasoning those questions when a bigger bomb was thrown. The youngest member of the group was introduced; a 4year old boy and he danced very, very well. He could do every step - Azonto, Etighi, Twisting, Gala and Co.
I was complaining of the older ones whom I assumed to be in secondary school. For this 4year old boy, I couldn't talk.
The little boy thrilled the crowd. Come and see spraying, as in that child must have taken nothing less than 50k home last night. The MC insisted that since he was so young, the least amount to spray him with was 1000 naira, and people were spraying.
Some one sitting behind me then made a statement. "This is child abuse using this young boy to make money at this hour. If it was during the day it would have been fine but at almost midnight, nah! Its child abuse."
I guess I wasn't the only one who found it strange to see children performing so late in the night.
WAG readers, is it child abuse or not? What do you guys think.
One thing I know for sure be say, if to say by MISTAKE(I know sha I won't allow my baby perform so late at night for people drinking and smoking), na my pikin be that. I would jejely sit beside the stage and be watching the money. In short, na me go personally pick the money before one stage manager come give me story say na 100 naira dey spray, Lol.

Happy new month my darling WAG readers. Time dey fly die, it's always on the move.
It was just like yesterday that I wished you guys Happy New Year, then later on Happy Valentine.
Now its the Month of March. Na wa o, 2013 don dey go like play like play.
Shout to those who feel like aliens this year because they didn't have an existing birthday date(feb.29th), so they had to claim Feb.28th or March 1st. Don't worry, we still know you are human but the universe decided to reduce your age by 4years. Its good sef, just be calculating your age every four years, atleast with this type of calculation no need for football age, lol.

2013 is composed of four sequential digits, although obviously not in order. The last such year was nearly 600 years ago, back in 1432. But the next such year is only 18 years away.
