Just In The Twinkle Of An Eye

On my way from Ozoro back to Warri, I witnessed an accident. I don't know how it happened. All I know is that there was a bike in front carrying an old woman and a Toyota Tundra behind the bike.

Just In the twinkle of an eye, the next thing I knew was that the Tundra was off the road in the bush and the bike nowhere to be found. Both passengers on the bike were lying lifeless on the ground.

I came down from the vehicle I was in and what I saw gave me shivers. The bike man was bleeding profusely from his head. His passenger an old woman, had her ankle cut off from her body, her skin peeled off.

I stood numb just staring at both bodies on the floor, to even move was hard talkless of taking pictures. I wonder how those people that take pictures of accident scenes and the dead victims feel when they are snapping the pictures.

I managed to get back into the car, while the community indigenes carried the bodies off the road. I felt for the driver of the Tundra, although he wasn't hurt he was just weeping and saying "I never kill person before o".

Till now am still grateful to God for keeping me up to this moment.

INFO OF THE DAY: Car Accident Statistics.
World wide, 1.2 million people die in car accidents yearly.
Survey's suggest that male drivers cause twice as many accidents as female drivers.

I guess that survey is because we have more male drivers than female drivers.
In general sha, everybody should drive carefully.

Stay Sharp,
Warri Girl.
