Before una yab me say I nor get money, I had enough money to still buy it at that price but I was just shocked.
I remember back in the days when 5Naira was big money, you could buy biscuit, groundnut, kulikuli(groundnut paste), kpekere(plantain chips) and some other stuff with it. Now how many people actually hold 5Naira in their hands. Common cabin biscuit is no longer 5Naira, pure water sef is 10Naira.
Chai! Inflation is hitting us sha. Am still trying to crack my head and see what 5Naira can buy.
Boredom and curiosity made me stop at a tailor's shop and ask for needle 5Naira, since it is so tiny I thought it would be cheap. The woman said "5Naira Ke, dem still dey see anything 5Naira for this country, na 10card for needle, my pikin sef 100Naira nor dey reach am carry go school".
You see how hard money is now. E clear say if 5000Naira note is introduced pure water and sweet go be 50naira for one. This just made me remember the 2Naira, 1Naira and 50kobo coins that millions were spent to produce, those ones are just rotting away in our cupboards.

The 5Naira note is a polymer bank note with Mauve as its main colour. It has a picture of Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa on the front ......
and a picture of Nkpokiti dancers at the back.
It is watermarked with the Central Bank of Nigeria logo.
For those who have forgotten their primary school S/S(social studies), I just helped you remember the name of the man on the note.

But seriously sha if 5k note show dat means some workers(sales girls) go dey give their bo$$e$ change oh wen him/her pay dem finish cos their pay no even reach 5k and den 20card,10card n maybe 50card no go get use again sef.. Una see am say I no even mention 5card cos as far as we ar concern dat one don extinct like 1card,2card n 50kobo!!! Abeg our govt make una sori for us before we all go turn kidnappers oh, kidnapping one and others pot of soup n so on.. Lol..
