The Effect On The Town

The State Government has decided to frustrate chronic wakajudges, who are in need of quick means of transport, by placing a ban on Okada. On behalf of all the Groover Washington(out going people), I say we sha survive. Ogoro(frog) must jump.

Here is a summary of the effect of the motorcycle ban on the town. The ban was impacted yesterday.

First of all, the roads were free and peaceful. For those people that always have their trekking mode activated, it was a thing of joy because they were able to move and cross the road freely without disturbance from the iron road flies(okada), who most of the time ride recklessly.

Secondly, there was serious transportation difficulty as most people were stranded on the road. The difficulty was not just as a result of the okada ban but also because commercial vehicles(buses and taxis) which aren't painted in the State colours of white and blue were prevented for moving on the road.

Even if all the commercial vehicles with their different colours were working on the road, the transport won't still be adequate without Okada. So now they have stopped Okada and reduced the number of vehicles on the road.

Come and see trekking yesterday. People were stranded and didn't have any other choice but to trek.

State Government claim that there would be sanity in the town without Okada. Ok fine, but the state isn't ready for that right now. There should have been adequate provision of jobs and enough means of transportation before such ban was impacted because I believe Okada business helps reduce the crime rate in the town. Now the small daily bread of some people have been caught short. So government since you ban Okada abeg provided enough keke and vehicles for us before we trek all our shoes file.

Migwo government if you help fix this issue

WAG why are u greeting the useless government we have? They don't consider the plight or well beign of people before the impose stupid laws. No good roads bad and refurbished bus no keke yet and he's banning okada. is what they feel will cushion the effect on the populace? The timing for the ban of okada is total nonsense. The state government would have waited till end of january. So people can make plans. He would have repaired and construct more roads, provide the bus and keke in abundance b4 places the ban. How will okada spare part traders and mechanics take care of their families during this festive period? What about mama put that make a living by selling food to okada and use the money to train their children and feed? The crime rate will increase bcos of the festive period that is approaching. May God help us.
