INFO OF THE DAY: Warri Community Gives Contractors Ultimatum
OKERENKOKO community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, last week gave a 30-day ultimatum to contractors handling projects in the community to return to site or face their wrath.
Chairman of Okerenkoko Federated Communities, Chief James Bebenimibo, in a petition to the state Commissioner for Works, Mr. Solomon Funkekeme, said: "We are deeply constrained to alert your ministry about the desire of our peace-loving people to take our destiny in our hands by confronting your ministry, should you fail to direct the underlisted contractors to report back to their project sites in Okerenkoko within 30 days.
E reach for them to vex joor. When dey go award contracts, contractors go chop money run. Na all this kain things dey slow down the development of this country.

Trudging along with ambiguous government. What do you expect from road side contractors who construct roads, bridges, govt quarters, airports etc all at the same time. Hmmmmm.
