Heartbreak Turn Proposal

From my university days till date, my friend, Monica and I have always been referred to as sisters. People say there is a striking resemblance between us. We aren’t in the slightest bit related, we are just friends. Me, sha I don’t see the resemblance but maybe you might.

Take a look at these pictures and tell me if you see any resemblance.

Ok now to the aproko of the day, in relation to my post title ‘Heartbreak Turn Proposal’, Monica my darling rabbit has metamorphosed from the single stage to the engaged stage.
Monica got hooked. Yeah!

This is how it all went down;
Monica met her fiancee, Lulu, in March last year. They started dating a few months later and on Sunday the 2nd of Feb, 2013, he gave her the best present ever(na so she talk am o).

It’s a funny engagement story. On Saturday, Monica was home when Lulu called asking her to meet him up at someplace(I guess that was supposed to be the proposal venue) but she said she was feeling feverish and couldn’t go and meet him.
He tried persuading her to come out instead of him going over to her place but she refused. Naim the guy vex o, say in short the relationship is over, say e nor wan do again.

Come and see my friend wan turn mad woman. From fever e change to heartbreak, she just dey cry of heart ache, lol.
The next day, sharpadly my girl was on the move to Lulu’s house to start pleading with him and he asked her these, “Do you still want this relationship? Are you sure I’m truly what you want?”. Monica replied “Yes”

He walked away and she kept on staring, wondering what was going through his mind. Wondering if everything was back to normal between them. He came back and the next thing she saw was Lulu, one knee on the ground, with a small box and he asked the dream question “Would you marry me”.

My friend said she just kept on screaming and screaming YES. Lulu never intended to breakup with her, he only wanted the proposal to be a huge surprise and catch her off guard. That he did.

I’m so happy for my facial sister/friend. Wow!

Wedding bells are ringing for Monica and Lulu. Funnily, Monica just did a traditional makeup photo shoot for her sister who is a make up artist, so I have a sneak peak of how she is going to look on her traditional marriage day.


Beautiful isn’t it? Just that on the real day my Rab would be far more beautiful than this.

N.B: I think I had a dress mishap in 2010, shame on me for my bra showing in those pictures #eyesclosed#

Thanks to Monica, I didn’t undergo all that process of guys palming(touching) ass and breast all in the name of teaching a girl how to swim. She was the one who taught me how to swim.

Yeah the ring is on the 3rd finger instead of the 4th, e nor matter, so far e dey the hand.

INFO OF THE DAY: My No.1 Man’s Birthday.
Today is the birthday of my one and only, precious, darling father. The man has been my guild and pillar of support and hope through out all these years.

He was actually the aided the gingered which made me to start blogging. One day he asked me “what’s your talent?”. I didn’t precisely know what my talent was. I just knew I was smart, sharp, intelligent and I take note of little details that others ignore. That’s when I realized I could blog with that. I told him and he said,“go ahead, start and be good at it”.

Happy birthday Daddy, I love you so much and I’m grateful to God for bringing you this far. Many more years ahead for us.
