I believe most of the people that are writing all this negative val statuses are the val-less ones or those who desperately need a val. That's their own way of consoling themselves.
Yesterday, I followed an Uncle of mine who went val shopping for his wife of over 15years and it was so lovely watching him take his time to get the perfect gift.
Please leave the love birds and let them enjoy their day. Stop the beef.
If you don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend to celebrate with, there is nothing wrong with that. You can celebrate it with you family and friends.
Don't be beefing people or wishing you had a Val. Take it like a normal day of fun. You can give yourself a treat, hang out with friends and have fun(that's what I'm gonna do).

I honestly don't get the whole hullabaloo over vals it has been commercialized just like Christmas and all those other holidays manufacturers and advertisers are very clever and take advantage of this day to hoodwink gullible shoppers to spend more on a product than it costs. My kenyan padi a country that grows and exports roses to Europe tells me that roses that usually cost 20pence are now 1 pound on vals like seriously? And then tomorrow your husband/wife goes back to cheating on you, hitting on you or whatever problem it is that you guys had before vals. My point is if you truly love someone show them love all year round not just on vals to show face or keep up with the jones. My sis and her hubby do not observe vals he brings her flowers all the time, forever buying her gifts, the woman works yet she still gets an allowance from him, takes her on exotic trips loves her like crazy and to them vals is just another normal day in their lives no special dinner plans or anything like that. They only observe birthdays, their anniversary and religious holidays and are fine with that.
That's it, the beefers lack love.

Ok,your lover should treat u special everyday and there is no problem if he decides to treat u extra special on Vals's day,Annivesary day or your birthday... Nothing wrong with that.. And for ur Sis,dats good.. There is actually no perfect template for a marriage and relationship and there is also nothing wrong if her husband dat gives her probably a bunch of rose on everyday decides to give her two on Val's day.#Justsaying...atleast there is nothing wrong in celebrating,birthdays,Anivesary or even Christmas sef..
